My local shop (AED) has a manual NA running in the 10's with its only power mods being a ported stock intake manifold, larger TB, drop in filter, e85 conversion, off road H pipe and GT500 mufflers. And has a customer with a stock auto running 9's with its only power adder being a 2.3L TVS and X pipe. Its all about the tuning when it comes to the new 5.0L and AED is the best in the business when it comes to that. Almost makes me wish I had a new 5.0L but I gotta have IRS on my next performance car.

You said it bro. AED, Lund and VMP are all great tuners with these cars. And with the right tune, these cars are VERY quick.
I have a '13 Roush Stage 3 which has the TVS 2.3, and was thinking about adding the smaller pulley, keeping the stock airbox and getting a 93 octane/smaller pulley tune from one of the aforementioned tuners. I would probably do the x-pipe as well, just which brand, I don't know.
