I just had this service update, and everything went smoothly!
Thanks for posting the update info, my dealer had no idea it existed when I took it in for another update three days before.
I mentioned the dim lighting to my service manager while having him research why my car had none of the advanced settings when in track mode. That problem was resolved by a reload of software, but the dim lighting persisted.
So when I saw your post I took him the info, and 40 min. Later it was fixed.
