Again, everything in your world can be hunky dory....if you aren't strong enough you aren't strong enough. Example....I'm a stong mofo...really strong...but Dznts squats in the 700's...I squat in the 600's....

I recently retired (ok I work from home but it's a joke and its working for myself), I sleep all I want, I eat good and all the time....it's not going to make me squat what Dznts does....

I understand this but I think you may have misunderstood my point. For example, let's say your squats 1RM is 300, of course you can't jump right in and expect to do 350 but you would expect to do 300, sometimes you just can't even if you feel like you can and all known factors are the same as when you could. Then there are times when you think you will struggle with the 300 and find yourself adding plates. The point I was making is that the mind and body don't always agree.
