The problem with making a 4 cylinder Camaro is that it is inherently a compromise. And a compromise is just another way of saying that nobody gets what they want. If you want something small, and light, and RWD then a 6th gen Camaro probably won't be the car for you. Neither will a Mustang. Instead, these people will be looking at something like the FRS. I think that market is far bigger than any potential market for 4 cylinder pony cars.
