Bravo, Ford. I'm liking it at all angles so far. I'm relieved they only went as far as they did on the front end, pretty similar to the last MY except for the narrower, more aggressive headlights. If it had been up to me I wouldn't have wrapped them around to the fenders, which would have offset some of the (overblown, in my opinion) comparisons to the fusion, but it'll do. The tail looks very nice. It seems at least the GT is getting some sort of adjustable steering & suspension setup and different driving modes similar to the ZL1 and C7? If so I hope GM will flow something down from the top of the line models too.

I love the interior. Materials look much improved. The toggle switches are a great touch, and I think it's awesomely tacky that it says "ground speed" on the speedometer. Those two features plus the side window profile that echoes the bubble canopy of a certain similarly named WWII fighter plane look really good to this airplane buff.

I'll say this about the next Camaro as compared with this new Mustang: as someone who has no interest in a V8 if it's not in a truck or Corvette, GM had better have something good up their sleeves to compete with this Ecotech turbo, because as it stands now the V6 would seem to be completely outclassed in all but exhaust note (and judging by some turbo 4's I've heard, that can be at least somewhat remedied). Bad enough that Al Oppenheiser & gang abandoned the track & performance V6 game to Ford & Chrysler, but if they stick with this "no four cylinders" mentality I don't see how they're going to compete on power and fuel economy. Seeing the LT1 go up against the Coyote (or "Voodoo" ) will be lots of fun, but it's not what will decide where my money will go. I haven't given up all hope, but the stubborn attitude doesn't fill me with confidence.
