How do you figure the refresh 'failed'? Sales are up by roughly a thousand units (on average) per month since July vs last year. How can you consider that to be a failure? Or is it just one of those "I don't like this so FAIL!!11!!" kinda things?

And I also don't get the 'euro influence' comment. The front end looks meaner (not something I'd consider to be a European trait) and the tail lights are based off those from the 2nd gen. I guess you could argue that the 2nd gen as a whole was 'European inspired' or whatever marketing term GM wanted to ascribe to it. But thats getting a little thin in my book. And the taller rear diffuser simply 'is', I don't see that as being tied to any region of the world. But on the whole, the changes make the car look lower & wider -which is a very American design aesthetic.

If you don't like it, fine. Nobody says you have to.
