Car and Driver January 2014 just came out with an article on the next gen Mustang. The pictures look similar to these but are of a GT. The engine line up looks to be an Ecoboost 4 cylinder, the 5.0 Coyote to start. However the article states there will be two more engines available. The 662 hp Trinity motor may make its way into a GT500. I have my doubts on this as the Trinity motor is very expensive and guzzles gas to keep production.
Ford is working on a more powerful 5.0 or 5.5 liter motor. This new engine should pump out 550 to 600 hp in turbo form. I think the article mentions the code name "Voodoo" for a twin turbo V8. This motor may find a home in the new GT350.
