What I've seen here in Eastern MA is that Prius drivers go much faster than posted speed limits. I'd say 2 in 5 blatantly do more than 10 mph over any posted limit.
I'm not saying that it's some kind of sin, I'm saying that I don't even see Corvettes, Mustangs, Challengers or Camaros that are blasting 15 mph over a posted 65 limit with such regularity. It's strange.
I know a guy at work that has a hybrid and he will try to give me mpg jibes as he drives me somewhere- while doing 40 mph in a 25 zone. I ask "so how many children have you run down so far?"
