I (Bill) like this thread, because my dad and I are building a street/strip S10 right now. It is a 91 short bed regular cab 2wd from Tennessee (since we are in Michigan this means we got a 91 with no rust which is hard to find here). We are currently doing a frame off build on it, and we are putting in a 5.3 LS motor with full bolt ons, a big cam, and a 3 stage Nitrous kit. Entire suspension is getting set-up for the car to hook up and it has a 8.8 ford rear which we are narrowing. Now that's awesome! I'm thinking about putting a 5.3 LS motor in this one too. I'm definitely following your build.
