I guess everyone's opinion is different, but thats what makes the world go round.
I'd buy that truck in a heartbeat. To me the only similarity between that front end and the Edge you is the headlights....nothing else. The headlights is not what I dislike about the Edge...its the huge grille so no foul there in my eyes.
Also, I feel that rendering looks better than the current Colorado, as well as Frontier and Tacoma, and I wouldn't be cross shopping with full size trucks so again another reason why I'd buy it. I'm not super excited about the headlight design, but the grille and lower front look excellent to me. It beats the hell out of the other global version that is for sure.
Of course, this rendering is likely not 100% accurate, but based on the GM teaser shot and spy shots I'm betting it is close.
Also, there is always the GMC Canyon which you may like if you don't like this one.
