Here's their response:

"At this time, we do not have an exact date as to when the 2014 Corvette Stingray convertible is scheduled to start production however they are scheduled to begin arriving at dealerships in the late 4th quarter of 2013 or early 1st quarter of 2014. Please keep in mind that these dates are subject to change and we recommend keeping in contact with your selling dealership for updates as to when your vehicle will be delivered. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Not exactly what I wanted to "hear" but I guess I need to be more patient...but it's hard when I read about all the "success' stories on this blog. Ah well.....
That is the same thing Chevrolet Marketing told me on Oct 9th. I am hoping for November or December. My convertible has been at 3000 since 9-14th. I guess I am not affected by the Z51 hold since it has been at 3000 over a month. I keep looking at Rick "Corvette' Conti convertibles that he has ordered. About all of his is at 3000. When his moves I think mine will also. It will be great whenever I get it. I will still be able to drive it some of the winter when the temp is above freezing because of the Summer tires. Oklahoma's weather is not like up north. It's just hard to wait when we see all of the nice Stingrays posted on this site.
