Death race 2000. David Caradine played Frankenstein. Cheesey movie with dune buggies and foam spikes, spears and knives. A cross country race for TV where the drivers get points for killing pedestrians. Bonus points for old people in wheel chairs.
Remake was with the guy from the Transporter movies. A prison movie where the inmates race for pay per view TV. The winner of 10 in a row or something gets to go free.
If you like any Jason Statham movie you would probably like it. Also has Ian McShane from Deadwood who I like. Plus there are cars and cars getting blowed up, and people getting blowed up, and people blowing up cars.
