(If it is not real, then they are illegally using the Nasa Logo on their website).

Originally they said their major discovery announcement would be told on November 13, (the same day as the Fema drill that is scheduled to simulate a major power outage as if it was caused by solar flare or EMP device.)

But for some reason their website was changed and now it says they moved up the date to reveal their secret on October 6, 2013.

Does anyone know what this might be about? On their webpage, an astronaut is shown floating and he says "Are they real?"

For those of you who are experts on this topic (even though you don't have any kind of classified, top secret info that is held back from the general public) what do you speculate this is about?
1. NASA wouldn't host a site on namecheap.com.

2. NASA wouldn't announce something while they are technically "shut down".

3. NASA wouldn't use such elementary-style graphics.

This is nothing but a hoax. Like I said above, if this site was NASA's it would be hosted on NASA.gov. This is just a site that's wanting your email to sell to third party companies. They're using the government shut down to their advantage to get people to believe them more and since NASA can't really say anything back at the moment. Trust me, the public doesn't know everything about NASA. So an announcement that will apparently "shake the world" wouldn't be made like this. And depending on what it was, it might not even be made at all.

TL;DR: It's a hoax. The site is not owned by NASA.

I think Gravity is coming out either today or this weekend. I remember my dad calling me earlier this morning asking if I would come see it with him. So I don't know when exactly the movie comes out.

That's more complex than you think.
