Not that you don't have something if a point, Ford did focus in straight line performance over road course performance, but don't the GT500 and ZL1 pretty much split wins 50/50 in most road comparisons? Whereas ZL1 definitely under performs in the 1/4, when using GT500 as a reference point. So one could argue that GT500 is a more rounded performer.

But I digress, this thread needs not be overly derailed by a discussion that we've all had too many times. This thread is about the next gen.

And this new SVT car, I see being a car more apt to play in the realm of Z/28 and perhaps even Z51 rather than ZL1 like the OP stated.
