I completely agree with you. I'm a vegan, so my opinions are obviously a bit extreme on this type of thing. But whether someone chooses to be vegan/vegetarian or not, I think it's important for everyone to know what's involved in creating the food that people eat on a daily basis. And more importantly what they are putting into their body.
I became a vegetarian at 13 years old after I did a research project over animal rights for school, and I became vegan after watching a documentary called "vegecated". Anytime I start to doubt my decision to be a vegan, I then watch another documentary. Forks over knives is a good one, earthlings is also a pretty good one. Not for the faint of heart though. But I know that these documentaries changed my life, it is definitely an eye opener
