So if i understood this correct you need to have your laptop connected through a hardwire connection and then your gaming console needs to be connected to the laptop to create a bridge type of network?
Edit: And if you have to use a wired connection to your laptop does that mean you are not allowed to create any form of a wireless network? It might be a long shot but I was thinking of taking the wired connection going into your laptop and then making your laptop (assuming your running windows since that is what you asked for in the title) and creating a hot-spot type of network called a Ad hoc. And the reason I say its a long shot is because Ad hoc is designed for computer to computer and not mobile devices but sometimes can work
