That sadly won't work. They don't allow any routers or switches at all. The way I described it is the only way they're letting us do it. Basically it's a wire from the Ethernet connection in the room to the laptop and then another cable from the laptop to the system. And yes, they give us an IP address to configure into the laptop and into the system.
