I'm doing this at my university. They only allow us to connect a gaming system with a wired connection. Only thing is they don't allow direct hook ups to the network. You have to run a wired connection to the laptop. Have the laptop configured to access the network and then run a wired connection from the laptop to the gaming system. In this case, I got what I needed working but now my problem is that the network won't authenticate. So the ps3 can't connect. I have a USB to gigabit Ethernet adapter with an Ethernet cable running to the ps3 any ideas?
