If you’re eager to see the 2014 Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet plans to make your day in a big way.
Not only will the all-new Corvette be on display at the State Fair of Texas beginning Sept. 27, GM will also have a Corvette in its “ride-and-drive” display outside the Automobile Building, spokesman Craig Eppling said.
That means you can drive the new Corvette – albeit at slow speeds under supervision. It should be worth it.
As you know, the car got a thoroughly revised suspension, a new version of the 6.2-liter V-8 that is cranking out 460 horsepower, a better interior and sharper, more European styling.
Various car magazines have already heaped high praise on the new ‘Vette, both for its sizzling straight-line performance and superb handling.
It might be the only ride at the State Fair that I’d stand in line for.
