Usually cars lose value until they get to the 20 year mark. At 20 they become officially considered classics. That is when the cars will start to rise in value, if they are destined to be collectors. If the 2000 Cobra R is going to go up it won't be until 2020 (another 7 years). Because it is holding value fairly well, I predict it will go up. Maybe not like the Z/28, or hemi cars (of the 60's and 70's), but it will climb slowly.
