The problem, in truck circles, with all-out tunes for ultimate numbers is that you lean 'em out so much that their towing capacities actually suffer... Strap on a gardening trailer, or a part-capacity load, and ping-ping-ping! The "numbers" improvement comes at the expense of the "fat" fuel curves put in place to safeguard a to-capacity towing/hauling intended use.

Tunes for straight-line performance? OK. For regular truck duties? Not so...
