I have to side with your soon to be wife. You are marrying her and must love her, so you have to keep in mind that it makes her uncomfortable having your best friend there. It doesn't matter if you best friend is a man or a woman it still makes her uncomfortable and that is no way to start a marriage. Remember in a month your wife is going to become your best friend and she should always come first. It might seem stupid to you but it means the world to her, we women can't explain our emotions or why we want something a certain way, so sometimes the man needs to just go with the flow.
Like someone else said, Happy Wife, Happy Life. She should also treat you the same way. So think how would you feel if she invited a man to her party, I bet you would feel uncomfortable also.
