Yeah, with the cancellation of the 4.5L Duramax I don't see GM following suit. As for Ford they're rolling out their gen2 EcoBoost engines and with the 2.7nano slotting in, power wise, where the current 3.5 is, they'll pit the gen2 3.5 up against these light duty diesels in comparisons.
