I still do not understand the arguement of the bigger diesel being better. Even with five liters the half tons can only tow so much. My concern would be if Nissan is coming with a frame to handle the 5.0 liters or are they turning it down to just use it as marketing. Toyota had diesels in the past in their trucks and the big three did not bite, GM BTW offered diesels in the 70s (even dismal as the science project was) they jumped back out of the 1/2 diesel market.
