It is still a diesel in a half-ton and it makes FAR more sense than the 5.0 Cummins. The 3.0 provides extra torque, MPG, and the price is not out of line. I can almost guarantee a Cummins Titan will be around 5 grand more than an Ecodiesel Ram, will get lower MPG, and not produce a huge towing advantage. IMHO in both the F-150 and GM twins you are FAR more likely to see something akin to the Ecodiesel than the oversized and overpriced Cummins. IMHO Nissan should find a niche for it, but that is about it. I can see them maybe putting it in something beefier than a regular 1500 version, maybe like a 1500 HD or HD lite, but can guarantee you would be looking at some good $$$$$.
