in this case, it did end it, per the guy who posted it.
so you are saying, once a bully gets beat up, they will somehow magically disappear? No chance at him coming back, maybe with friends? Why wouldn't you try to take the easy way out, and see if that works? it can work, is all i'm saying. of course there are many cases that it wont, but violence is also never the only answer.
edit: never the only answer in every single bullying case.
