I'm not sure if any of the dealers in the Houston area still have allocation. The think that the next consensus is on the 22nd of Aug.
I would check out Classic Chevrolet in Sugar Land or Westside Chevrolet in Katy. I know a number of people that have ordered from one of these two places. If you put your order in now with a dealer with allocation available, you should get the car by the end of the year.
