I was able to get the cost up to almost $127,000 using Chevy's website.
Looked at GT price (from 2006, so remember there's inflation)...and it started at $140,000 then went to $150,000.
GT's a fast car, no doubt...and for a short time out-performed the Corvette C5, as the C6 came out shortly after the GT.
Point is that the Shelby GT500 is Ford's flagship now, and is nowhere close to the current Chevy flagship. Of course, the Camaro ZL1 suffers because they will not put out anything that blows away the ZR1 in the Camaro models. They are already putting out something super-fast in the Corvette.
