I agree Mindz didnt leave. Could it be possible that Mikey was off to kill Mindz and was roll blocked causing Mindz to stay alive. Then Redemption could have been a gambler, investigated a Mafia member and died from the investigation. It would explain the chips, Mikeys absence from his home and him not providing any other info other than he wasnt home and saw Mindz was home.
