Here's some things you can add.

Backwards Compatible?
Yes. Available in 2014 Gaikai (own section) will allow PS3 backwards compatibility (You misspelled compatibility).

Gaikai will actually eventually allow the PS4 to be PS1, PS2 and PS3 backwards compatible. Gaikai will be implemented in stages and at the launch of Gaikai, it will only allow select PS3 backwards compatibility.

Ram
Sony cleared up a little confusion on the Ram allocation. Games will have access 4.5 gigs of direct ram and 1 gig of flexible ram allowing games to have access to a max of 5.5 gigs with the remaining used by the OS. Here are the definitions Sony gave;

""Direct Memory" is memory allocated under the traditional video game model, so the game controls all aspects of its allocation

"Flexible Memory" is memory managed by the PS4 OS on the game's behalf, and allows games to use some very nice FreeBSD virtual memory functionality. However this memory is 100 per cent the game's memory, and is never used by the OS, and as it is the game's memory it should be easy for every developer to use it. "

Recording
The PS4 will be able to record up to 15 mins of video at a single time.

The Xbox 1 will be able to record up to 5 mins of video at a single time.

Friends list
Both systems have increased the max limit of the friends list (the PS3 and 360's limit was 100). The PS4 limit is 2,000 and the Xbox 1 limit is 1,000. But seriously who has that many friends anyway?

HDD's
The PS4 uses 2.5" laptop hard drives and can be swapped out.

The Xbox 1 can not be swapped out or removed (already mentioned in the op. Oops didn't see it.)

Now for a bit of trivia, the PS4 is actually a different color than the PS3. I always thought black is black but apparently not.
