Me too!!!...I bought mine new with my own hard earned $$$$$...mine was the exact same color-"Firethorn Red", but not a Trans Am, it was the Esprit...all I could afford back then, but I added a lot of the Trans Am options...couldn't even afford the extra $800 back then for A/C...but I wanted that car so badly, that I did without the A/C...
I knew that the '77 was gonna have the rectangular headlights and I didn't want that...I loved the round headlights, just like the Camaro has the round ones too...
The '76 Firebird was my favorite car and color until my RJT CAMARO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
