I don't require the extra output of the d-max. nor do I want the extra costs. I am extremely happy with my 6.2 half ton. and 420\450 in a lighter 3\4 ton would be just perfect for me.
also I love how good on fuel this thing is. consistently as good or better than any 5.3 I have had.
