Add a turbo to the 300-hp Camaro and watch that Ford driver cry. I agree that muscle includes the V6—let's call it "lightweight" as opposed to "heavyweight" V8s—but you can't expect it to compete with V8s across the board. Regardless, Ford and GM need to make better decisions about what to bring to the US. It's a damned shame that their home market gets the most impotent or boring cars.
