The original plan (which I'm not sure if I'm allowed to talk about) was a much better idea that I supported 100%.
No, it's not about the numbers, but remember that C5Fest isn't cheap or free. If your attendance is too low then you're going to have problems with funding.
I did wish I could've gone last year, but I had over two hundred little brown four-legged ladies that needed me to take care of them throughout the summer. That being said, after hearing from a few people who did go, I'm kinda glad I didn't.
And please. This isn't the first time I've been accused of being "not a true Camaro enthusiast" on this site. I'm allowed to have an opinion and I don't have to worship everything this site comes up with to be a Camaro enthusiast. That's laughable. I complain about stuff GM does all the time but if you're going to tell me I'm not a GM enthusiast because of that I'll laugh in your face.
I've said before I wish the mods the best and I do hope C5Fest goes off without a hitch because I know how hard it is to plan just a meet, let alone a multi-day event. I don't agree with their choice of location but I'm friends with a lot of them so I still hope everything turns out okay. Believe me I'd like to see it do well this year but initial indications aren't promising.
And to clarify, I'm not complaining about Fest. I love the concept of Fest in general and I hope to make it out to one in the future. I'm just not thrilled about the location this year.
PS: I have yet to drive a '14 Impala, does that mean I'm not allowed talking about it?

The whole Camaro enthusiast came out wrong after I re-read what I typed lol.

I did look at the pictures and say "Wow that looks pretty cool." But like Fen said, we talked to people that went and they told us that it really wasn't the best thing ever. Some even left early.
Also, if you think that whether someone goes to C5 Fest or not, defines them as a Camaro enthusiast, then please buy a plan ticket to Florida so I can laugh in your face because that has to be the funniest thing Ive heard in a long time.
I think Camaro5 Fest is a great idea. I honestly wish more forums would do events like this. I really do. I know the moderators really care about the forum. You can tell just by the countless, unpaid, hours of putting work into C5 Fest.
Lastly, please stop bringing drama into every single thread me and Fen are in. I'm sorry that you have nothing more to do than follow Fen and I around on the forum, when we haven't said anything to you, but it's getting old real fast. The Lounge is a drama free zone, so please don't act like a child and bring drama into the Lounge to spite Fen and I or something stupid like that. If you really want to fight with us over this, take it to the PMs.

For the record the Camaro enthusiast part came out wrong. I didn't mean it like I typed it and that I apologize.
Causing drama in every thread you two are in? Really? I barely post in here any more and I post in the 4th gen section and in the mens lounge that I don't think Ive ever seen you two in?
