Well, Traverse sells pretty damn well without much advertising. A lot of what you see on TV are dealer-run ads though, keep that in mind. If your dealer isn't have much trouble moving Traverse inventory then they won't bother advertising and would rather focus on launch products like Impala. GM's marketing strategy would be the same.
And you wouldn't see TrailBlazer ads because TrailBlazer hasn't been in production for the US market for five years now.
