Seriously!

As a firefighter, you have to know building construction, how buildings, homes and structures are built. How do they go up..is how they go down. Mechanic? We used to work on the Hurst tool(REAL NAME for the "Jaws of Life), K-12(Saws used for ventilation on roofs, etc) the trucks in general. Whats cool about Firefighting, is that you are a jack of all trades. You get somewhere and everyone looks at you as the fix it man. You could make a run that is a baby crying with a wet diaper and 10 minutes later, you are runnig into a fire with a report that there may be someone in the house or structure..30 minutes after that? Cutting open a car in order to get a family out. I enjoyed the hell out of it.I leftt because I had a really good opportunity with Fed. Law Enf. I do miss it though!

thanks for the info
