I did a Golf trip to Palm Springs and liked the town, did not like the golf. Always windy and the greens were rock hard. Could not hold a wedge. Ball would bounce 5 feet and roll off the back.

Did a trip to Tampa this year. The Golf was great but I'm thinking the humidity is too much for this guy. I'm a Canadian looking for somewhere to snowbird Going to Phoenix this year, for a month of golf.

I have a custom fit set of Diablo forged irons and Taylormade woods.
Lol obviously I was exaggerating. There are over 200 golf courses in the valley though so it does seem like and endless supply of them. There are a lot of really nice courses but then there are some that are just ok. Price depends on the time of the year and where you want to play. During season you can get a round at one of the lesser courses for around $50 and the nice courses can get very pricey $300 or more. It just depends on where you go and what time of the year it is. I usually play in the summer during the offseason and can play some really nice courses for $50 or less. It sounds like you went to a lesser course. Keep in mind some of the reason the prices in the summer are cheaper is they don't take care of the course as much as they do during season.
