Well, looking at that we can't really call the Mach 1 a Z/28 competitor. Just like you can't say the Z/28 is a Boss 302LS competitor. The LS was gone before the Z/28 and by the time the Mach1 comes out the 5th Gens will be getting replaced. There saying possibly 2017 for it, I would expect the next gen Camaros to be rolling out befor then.
