It will be a low 13 second car with maybe a VERY rare high 12 (it is heavier with less HP than a Camaro SS wihich is a high 12/low 13 car with the LS3/manual). And at it's time, other cars that will run with it BMW 135, BMW 335i, Subaru WRX/STi, Genesis 5.0 R-Spec. And no the GXP didn't even beat down the old 06-10 SRT8s, the only test were they were put head to head they times and numbers were basically identical.
Stew can't get over his Chrysler complex to understand that some people will simply prefer the SS over the outdated, stale as yesterday's toast Dodge Charger. The Camaro, Mustang, and 135 are all coupe's Stew. We're talking about sedans. The 335i is small and underpowered. The SRT8 Charger and Genesis R-Spec are several thousand dollars more.

As if you know anything about Superbee pictures after being caught trying to pass off the full price SRT8 red/black interior as a Superbee in post #168.

Strictly you're maligned opinion nothing more. Chevrolet is not creating a RWD sedan market in the U.S., that's Cadillac territory. The new Impala solidifies this. The fact they brought the Commodore over at all is surprising and a nod toward GM enthusiasts, nothing more. Same reason they built the CTS-V wagon - because they could, not because it was profitable.

The materials are first rate (soft touch, high quality cloth or leather, if is looks like aluminum or brushed metal, it actually IS), the uConnect 8.4 is so easy to use and the thing can be loaded like a full on lux car. I have been in a few and the difference between the previous model is truly massive and while the style is different it gives up NOTHING to the SS (well, except for the HUD, love the HUDs). As for the SRT interior, it gets it's own style. You get SRT specific seating, steering wheel, detials, and stitching. Go sit in one, but since you apparently a GM only fan, the point would be moot....
I have driven the 2013 V6 and R/T Chargers. I've driven the 2013 V6 Challenger, the 2009 and 2012 Challenger SRT's and I've driven the 2013 Chrysler 300 Touring. Fine cars all of them but "fantastic interior" as you say is not an expression that comes to mind. The 300 interior is good. The rest are typical Dodge. I'm not saying GM leads the world in interiors but the new Impala, SS sedan, CTS are significantly better than anything Dodge offers. Go drive a Jaguar XJ, Audi S8, Mercedes S550. THOSE are "fantastic interiors".
