IMHO, the new Impala is best, most rounded non specialty car in the Chevy lineup and for the first time in a VERY long time I am truly impressed with the thought, precision, and excellence that went into a GM product. THe more I see of it, the more I realize that it is a no compromise entry into it's segment.
I saw a metallic red one for the first time and on the way home had to stop at the dealership and have a close up look. I was very impressed, may even take an opportunity to drive one soon. Awesome looking car...wish it were rear wheel drive, but in it's class of cars, FWD is the norm.

Yep, many family oriented non-performance minded folks would naturally pick the Impala, especially those with small children, etc.
