This is BS. Not about their network, but about the account hacking. My XBOX live account was hacked, and DLC was purchased with a credit card I mistakenly saved on their network.

Lots of people play without being connected to the internet, becauese they don't have to. But I'll give you a good example... I used to be active duty Navy. What do you think I did on my free time for 9 months on a boat?

Or how about the simple fact of... why should I need to have an internet service to play a game that isn't exclusively online? I suppose the millions of people complaining about that for things like Diablo III and the new Sim City were just babies too? I like games like that for when I travel for work. I don't always have an internet connection in my free time on travel, but I always have power. Sometimes I'm gone long enough to bring a gaming platform of choice.

There are situations outside your world. Don't be so quick to judge.
