Actually, imo it's going to be real sad for the little kid who gets an Xbox one for Christmas plays it, then 24hrs later the system locks out the ability to play games. Then the kid is sad thinking his Xbox is broke and the parents are like WTF!!! They take it back for a replacement and find out that you need broadband internet for the Xbox to even play games including offline single player.. Then the parents say WTF!! we dont have internet in our area, and why should you need broadband just to play games. Then the parents say "oh well, little Timmy is getting a ps4 instead." Only 2/3 of all 360s are connected online. By intentionally locking the system ability to play games if there is not internet, MS has alienated 1/3 of it's user base.
