This is not to rain on anyones parade, because I am at the same status code and versed in the GM Workbench system.
At 3000 you have not been slotted for a production week, if you were told this by the dealer he was looking at a date they put on orders until they are actually slotted for a production week which would be at status code 3300. In essence you were given a production period (Starting week), again I restate when you attain status 3300 the TPW will be realistic.
My order was at 3300 with a TPW of 7/29 till some time Friday and was pulled back to 3000 as were many orders - why, it's unknown at this time but it appears GM is recalculating sequence of production for the first consensus, hopefully we will know more by mid week.
