Just because some mag writer can't hit 200 mph means nothing.
If the car did not go 200 mph then Ford could be sued for false advertising.
The ZL1 is barely faster than the 2013 GT500 on a road course (smaller courses) and considering it has wider tires, more camber, softer pads, IRS.................it can not overcome what the GT500 does to the ZL1 on a drag strip. Owner on SVTPerf just ran 9's in his 2013 with basic bolt-ons. If I'm not mistaken, it takes well over $10k including engine mods to put a ZL1 into the 9's.
And GT500 owners do not have to swap out their pads or worry about the valence busting or rocks chipping their rocker panels.
