took my baby on a 10 mile ride today and it ate up the hills and stuff just fine. i do have to replace the stock seat with a more padded one and the bike shop also carries a replacement seat pole with its own shock in it like the ones in the front fork. I LOVE the fact that i can remove the wheels with no tools (my first bike with this feature) this and my last bike had the same types of brakes where you can disengage them to make the removal of the wheels easier. and the shifter with the push buttons are a lot better than the motorbike throttle like shifter or the levers you moved with your thumbs on the old 6 speed beach cruiser bike i rode a few years ago in florida where it was flat and you didn't need any extra gears on the pedals.
