I don't get how you say that black entertainers were somehow supressed before MJ. The Music HOFs are filled with black and hispanic talents. They are and were, before MJ, responsible for some of the greatest music in our history. The first black artist accepted in the mainstream? I can make a list to show you otherwise. Just because Elvis was the king of Rock and Roll, doesn't mean I can say he was the first white artist to claim that title, and Elvis paved the way for everyone after him. There were plenty before him. MJ was the king of Pop Music. And there were plenty of blacks before him too.
And if you read my post again. I said MTV wasn't even around when MJ started. Not sure why you're disagreeing with that and then showing it's true.

also just so people dont believe your lie about michael not being around when mtv came out....mtv was created in 1981, michael jackson was already a star in 1981 with his bigtime solo album off the wall (which most musicians agree is probably better musically than thriller.) thriller came out in 1982....jackson 5 was 70s and off the wall was late 70s...so please dont spread lies.

it is a fact....no denying it he made mtv
And this after you said MTV wouldn't play black artist until MJ

mtv....would not play black artist in primetime till michael came through.
Kind of a contradiction there.

you probably did grow up with mtv....but didnt watch it as closely to know when what came out.
I grew up watching and listening to MJ. I stood in my bedroom as a teenager and pre-teen and thrust my hips while having my knee raised and turned my head really fast a few times and tried to dance like him. It was awesome. I had one of those red jackets with Zippers all over them. It was some of the best times of my childhood. So don't tell me I don't know when what came out.

i saw the word seem,.....and i gave my opinion...the word seem doesnt change anything i said.
You assumed I was talking about his skin color. If you deny it fine. I know you did.
