And my point is movies are meant to be an escape from reality. I liked transformers because well it was a live action transformers movies and because megan fox was a gear head in, but also because it had the new camaro in it. I knew that it wasn't real, and I don't expect fast and the furious to be real either... but why does that mean you shouldn't like them? as far as movies go, that SHOULD BE WHY you do like them. Even the "realistic" car chases you speak of are unrealistic. If it was realistic, it wouldn't take multipple cars and takes to accomplish what you see on screen. If you want "realistic" go watch a documentary.
