Greetings from Scenic Flint, Michigan...

Howdy,
A change in plans has lead me to pull the trigger on a new 2013 2SS/RS M6, and I am undeniably excited about the purchase. The initial plan was to keep my 02 Intimidator Monte Carlo SS running for a few more years and to get started on a Corvette project, but with a number of mechanical issues plaguing the Monte, and it's general decline in value (plus rusty quarters), I just can't justify pumping any more money into it... It sucks because I loved that car, underpowered as it was, and it was the specific one that GM took on the Hot Rod Power Tour in '02 to show it off, but I suppose all cars go to heaven (or maybe to a good home, hopefully) at some point.

As for me, I've done a lot of different things... I served as a Firefighter for the better part of a decade, I played drums in a band that toured the region (semi-successfully, but nothing to write a book about), and eventually I landed that job that most five-year-old little boys dream about, working as a freight railroad conductor. I live a good life, and fill my time with several hobbies such as competitive shooting, playing guitar and drums, Hockey, Golf, video-games (XBox), and whatever else piques my interest.

While I anxiously await the arrival of my new ride, I have spent several hours browsing the forum and the internet in general in search of ideas... I suppose it's quite imposing, considering I don't even have the car yet, but hey... dream big...

My other ride has 4,400+hp and corners like it's on rails... because it is.
