Why? In the end it's not GM's fault. It's probably Tremec's fault at the top end; the metal supplier at the bottom regardless of what's going on.
GM threw the Tranny in the car that HAD been tested already at Tremec's production facility. They threw it out their doors at GM.. their fault. It's like going to Best buy and buying a CD that blows up your player. Do you blame best buy? No, you blame the CD maker..
