I'm not usually one to post these kinds of stories, but I'm so shook up right now, I just had to get it.

It was a beautiful day, and I got the car all cleaned up. Took it the park, got some great pictures I was looking forward to posting. Picked up my lady, and headed to a car show. We were a little early, so we decided to stop off for some food.

We were driving along on a four lane, 35 mph street. The light ahead was just turning green, but there were stopped cars ahead. As I slowed down, BAM, rear ended really hard. BAM, another hit from the same car. I couldn't believe it. I pointed for the guy to pull off to the side... And them he takes off!

My girlfriend started to call the police, and I started to follow to get the plate so we could report it.

He jumps on the expressway, so I keep following, the rear of my car dragging behind me.

He gets off at the first exit, which has a lot of traffic. He decides to run through the shoulder, and through oncoming traffic. He SMASHES into a mini-can and flips the car over, and then drives off again!

We were able to pull over after traffic moved on, and along with other bystanders, were able to help her out.

We were with the police and EMTs for awhile. Thankfully, everyone is ok. We have been in touch with the woman's husband and daughter. We are a little sore and very shaken up. This really freaked and stressed me out.

I never imagined I would be in a situation like this. And now my car, which I finally finished, is trashed. The police wanted me to tow it, and the only way they would let me take it is if I ripped the bumper off and made sure nothing was jamming my tires or causing a safety hazard. I'll post pics later when I can bring myself to do so.
